Signature Plus builds upon the strengths of the Signet and original Signature interconnects. This cable adds a secondary silver-plated Teflon insulated return conductor and a specially designed, machined-from-solid-acrylic plug surround to the basic design. The second return conductor - derived from the technology used in the company's first Anthem cable - is claimed to improve the cable's dynamic abilities, while the acrylic plug surround - first used on the Indigo - is suggested to improve the cable's coherence and the overall musical presentation.
Owners of original versions of Signature (and the new Signet) cable can upgrade to Signature Plus specifications for an additional £225. Your cables can be sent back to the Chord Company factory where they are fully rebuilt to Signature Plus spec, to incorporate the new conductor, acrylic plug surround and new form low-mass RCA plug.
