I've had my new Chord Carnival speaker cables for a little over a week and i think i have nearly listened to half my music collection! I thought the speakers sounded fine before the cables. But the difference in the musical space and separation, and the clarity and punch of each instrument that the new cables has brought has made me see each recording in a new light.

I purchased the Chord carnival Silver screen speaker cable from Synergy AV and am very pleased with the product. I paired them with my lower/mid price range speakers after a very good 'What Hi-Fi' review and the results are excellent. The manufacture quality is very high and the cables are well screened and insulated, which is all protected by a thick translucent cover that is still reasonably flexible. The terminations with Chord plugs are also of high quality. I must also say that my experience of the customer service at Synergy AV is very good!

Chord Carnival Silverscreen - I had this cable on test from Synergy AV along with some Monitor Audio Radius 90's for my AV system due to a complete system upgrade. I also tried it with my hifi system and it truly is great cable all round. The benefits on both platforms are immense. It widens the frequency range phenomenally, opening up a whole new pallet with vocals. The speed of the cable is unbelievable it adds something the system seems to have missed before, delivering everything in a controlled and well paced fashion. With stereo tracks it seems to lose the very bottom end a little but gains a far wider lower range more than making up for it, adding new levels to every track i listened to. Vocals are astonishing and seem to leap out of the track. High end can seem a little to harsh compared to previous cable but this is soon rectified with a few tweaks and for the gains in range and quality the downsides are certainly negligable. This could be what your system has been looking for, well worth a try

I purchased the Chord Carnival (Silver) from Synergy. The turn around was very quick and I had my cables in 2 days (there was alot of cable). Chord are at the forefront of technology for high quality speaker cable, and this works perfectly for my home theatre and music system alike. It allows the explosive sound found on HD Blu Ray disks while still giving a full spectrum of extremely high frequency sound allowed by SACD. A truly great cable.
