The Chord Anthem 2 cables are a complete departure from the complex cable geometry and woven configuration of the original Anthem. Although appearing to be a far simpler design, performance is enhanced by the introduction of an extremely advanced multi-layer shielding system. The central conductor core is a multi-stranded silver-plated design. It is surrounded by low density Teflon insulation and a tri-layer silver-plated flat ribbon weave shielding system, similar to that used on the Chord Indigo
